BCR NEWS (Ajay Shastri/Mumbai) Sugandha Mishra born in A Hindi speaking family, is an Indian singer and television presenter.

Born: May 23, 1988, Place: Jalandhar, Punjab
She was classically trained by her Grandfather The Legendary Pt. Shankar Lal Mishra, disciple of Ustaad Amir Khan Sahib. Sugandha is the 4th Generation of her family into singing and belongs to the Indore gharana. She was university topper and a gold medalist and made a record of winning all the awards in music and mimicry at National Level youth festivals for 7 years consecutively. She also has a masters degree in music.
She started her career as a Radio Jockey in BIGFM92.7 for a prime time morning show. She has sung many jingles,bhajans and playback in documentaries, plays and short films. She was the Third Runner-up in the Reality Show Zee Hero Honda – Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar. She was also a finalist of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

Q. How will you describe yourself to the world?
Like a Rainbow with different colors of Comedy, Acting, Singing, Anchoring, Dancing, mimicking & painting.

My passion
Q. Highest Point of Life?
When i was invited to perform on the occasion of the living legend Dilip kumar sahab’s 90th b’day and got appreciation by him as well as Saira Banu ji.
Q. Lowest Point of life?
When I lost my loving grand-ma.
Q. Who have been your strength pillars in this journey?
My Family, My Music, specially My Dada Guru’s Faith in me.
Q. Best Friends in the industry?
Lot of friends from Music industry and specially our comedy gang from same university (Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Sudesh Lehri ji etc.)
Q. People you idolize the most?
Lata ji, Ust. Amir khan Sahab, Kishor Da, Sunidhi Chauhan.
Q. What’s your mantra for a happy life?
Beauty of life is not how happy you are but how others are because of you.
Q. If you get a chance to go back in the past, one thing you would like to change?
I would like to change the musical Era of Oldies.
